Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a naturally occurring substance that is produced in small amounts by our own body. However, as we do not have enough of it, we must supplement it in the body through diet or supplements. ALA acts as an antioxidant for the body, but it also expands the activity of other antioxidants, such as vitamins C and E. These effectively support the immune system and protect cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. The product is in the form of vegan capsules and does not contain GMOs.
